We lived in this three hundred year old long house for a couple of years.

Dylan Thomas had had the house over the field.

This photograph was taken not long after the farmer who then lived there alone shot himself.

Such rural suicide is quite common in Wales, yet little spoken of.

Tawelfan, the name of the house, is Welsh for "place of peace and calm".
