Ethiopia. Anbessa Ch'aka.
Scene of a battle between the communist government and the guerrillas in 1990. They used the latest military technology to kill each other. It is possible to reconstruct some of the events that took place in from the archaeological remains. A Soviet tank lies destroyed beside some traditional huts. The Ethiopian war was fought between premodern farmers with industrial weaponry.
