
Shankill Parade, Shankill, Belfast - April 2006.
The main text reads, ‘Oliver Cromwell. Born 1599 - Died 1658’. The central motif is a portraiture image of Oliver Cromwell accompanied by the text, ‘Lieutenant General Lord Protector of the Protestant Faith’. The mural also includes five human figures (four Roundheads and one fallen Royalist cavalier), two horses (one riderless) and two scrolls of text.
