In this installation I offer a somewhat crude portrait of the city of Segovia through photographs and sculptures. The city space has been profoundly transformed by its denizens in order to fulfill their social and economic needs. Therefore, it has been reshaped into a cultural landscape that is far removed from romantic notions of landscape. Following an archaeological procedure, dozens of discarded objects found in different locations of the city are photographed and reconstructed with moulds and plaster casts to achieve the original shape of the artefacts.
